happy turkey day!

First and foremost, happy thanksgiving to all! This is my favorite time of year, when I am reminded of the things that are most important and just for a few days the world stops and it allows me to absorb the people & values that are most important to me. This year we have rented a cabin in the mountains and I am looking forward to some hiking, good groceries, board games, snuggling with my boys in front of the fire while they have some hot chocolate and mom has her vino!!!

Sorry, no electronics allowed, so I'll return all emails & phone when I get back on Monday (11.26.07).

I wanted to give an outlook for the remainder of the year and what to look forward to in 2008. I am no longer booking sessions for 2007. I am trying to wrap up editing and orders and focus on marketing and the 2008 price list. And hopefully {keep your fingers crossed} the launch of the new website. My darling web designer packed up her little self and moved to Seattle. So were no longer meeting at Krankie's over coffee to dream up and giggle over my web design & our lives, were now talking over the phone and sending emails. Miss. Molly is amazing and I already miss her. If your curious about who she is and what she does you can check her out here, you might even get a hint of my site there!

SO....long speech short, gear up for the new year, I'm still taking orders till the very last drop of 2007 and if I have talked to you about a session you can still get in, but for the rest, my books are open to you in 2008!!!

To all my brides, as soon as the fog clears from my eyes, your on the top of my editing list.

god bless and happy holidays!

Out of the office until 11.19.07

Just a small note to all my super clients that I will be out of the office and pretty much non-existant from Thursday through the weekend while I recover from an out patient surgery on my eyes. Pretty important to a photographer wouldn't you say?

I will return all phone calls and emails on Monday. I will be getting new eyes {not really} but to me they will be new. No biggie, just LASIK surgery!! Wait, did I say Lasik surgery was not a big deal??? I am totally stoked!

I have been wearing glasses/contacts since I was in kindergarten. It has become such a burden on me, I am beyond myself that I will be able to wake in the middle of the night and see the clock, not have to feel around for my glasses when I wake each morning {because i am as blind as a bat} and most of all deal with itchy, irritated eyes from pesky, annoying contacts!! Oh, and have my hair get pinched and pulled from getting caught in the arms of the glasses (such a pain!)

YAY for me- happy birthday & merry xmas- from my husband. thanks babe!

and just for laughs..back to that year when I started wearing glasses.
Aren't you diggin' the hot pink velvet shirt?

take a look!

Coffee Table Books are the new rave! They are an awesome way to have your entire photo collection in one cool, handy dandy book! Each page is custom designed by yours truly. These are especially popular with weddings. I'll post one soon from a wedding, but for right now you can view this one of a very special family who had me design one for them. ASUKA is the company I use and they are breath taking!!!

Click here to view a recent design of an Asuka coffee table book. ENJOY!

{p.s.} this link expires after 14 days. If your still interested in viewing just shoot me an email. I'll reload it for you.
